On Windows 11, when using LibreOffice Writer, highlighting TEXT to copy to another application (whether mouse or Ctrl-C) fails to copy. I started encountering that a couple of weeks ago. The strange thing is that I can copy and paste to Notepad+++ but not to any other application. It used to work just fine but now it doesn’t. Is there a setting in Writer that prevents the copy-paste function from working with other apps?
Your clipboard manager intercepts the clipboard and removes anything it doesn’t understand.
Remove your clipboard manager instead.
You could use Windows Clipboard History instead. It does force Calc to copy empty columns but otherwise it isn’t as bad as some.
Click Start menu - Settings - personalisation - Clipboard and turn on Clipboard History. Make sure that share clipboard across devices is turned OFF unless you enjoy waiting a couple of minutes to paste stuff
