Could not connect Android Remote to Impress 4.1

I could not connect my Android Remote to Impress 4.1
I tried both using Bluetooth and WiFi. The Impress is running on Debian 7 and the Android Remote is running on Android 2.3
Anyone have the same issue? Is there any good solution for this?
