Crash then formulae not working 7.1.8

I made a delete - shift left and it crashed (there were numerous dependencies).
I allowed the files to be re-built - I had 3 open.
In those files, the formulae do not work.
Checked backup but it was never enabled

Shouldn’t backup be default enabled?

I’m now downloading 7.2.5
I’m hoping that the files are not corrupted, because they are complex.

I’m now praying to my Angel

If they don’t work in 7.2.5 maybe I can copy and paste into a new spreadsheet.

1st task will be to enable backup
I’ll report back on how I get on.

A crash recovery is not a backup. Please read up about backups and install some program to backup all your data (not only the current documents) on a daily base.

Good News - While the files don’t work, I opened a new spreadsheet and copied to it: text, numbers, and formulae.

Boom!
They work.

Something must have glitched when the files were re-built when I had restarted Calc after the crash.
However, with copy and paste, I can rebuild the 3 spreadsheets.
I’m happy with that

Install Error 7.2.5.2
Warning 1946 Property ‘System.AppUser.Model.ID’ for shortcut ‘LibreOffice.lnk’ could not be set

What link is this, and can I set it manually?

It can be ignored, see Warning 1946 when you install an Installer package - Application Developer | Microsoft Docs
