I’m not sure if this is the correct area. I am wanting to build a CRM to record client details and future work to be don on the client. Hopefully be able to run a report off it at the end of each month. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No, no, I mean that you have chosen the right resource for finding help. Incorrectly selected tool, LibreOffice component - do not use Calc to implement your project, this is a path that leads to a dead end. Immediately look towards Base.
