When I add text to a rich text content control and then switch focus to another cell in a table and then click back into the content control, the cursor always returns to the start of the entered text. Is this normal behaviour and text has to be completely deleted and re-entered? I can’t position the cursor anywhere in the text to insert/delete, it keeps flicking back to the start.

It seems a bug, maybe related to tdf#158571.
As a workaround, select part of the text in the control including where the cursor is needed, then clik again.
By a comment in another question, you are working with LibreOffice 24.2.5.2 on Windows 10.
Reproducible with LibreOffice 7.6.7.2.
