When working in text I would like the cursor position to be much more clearly visible, so it would look like this: exa**|**mple (where the cursor is behind the letter “a”).
Blinking or not, I don’t care, just having it really well in sight.
Is there a setting I can change to obtain this?
In text, I have this problem too - sometimes my cursor disappears - but not always. It’s annoying and I’d like to know how to fix it.

Not sure if “lazylew” was able to find a solution, but the disappearing cursor problem stopped when I updated to the most recent (stable) version of LO.
using LO 5.1.6.2 at present, and indeed the issue is no more…
