I am trying to create a customize table style. Under Styles sidebar I select the Table Styles icon, select Default Table Style, and from the “Styles actions” dropdown I select "New Style from Selection. It allows me to name the style (“MyTable”).
But now I can’t delete that style (“Delete” is greyed out in the context menu). Is that normal?
Also I see no way to enumerate the properties of a style – i.e., I don’t know what aspects of the table are actually saved. For example, the first row of the table I created my style from seems to be treated separately as a heading: new tables created from MyTable have a bold first row in Calibri (like my orginal table), but a LARGER font. Is header style included in the table style? Does header style not include font size?
