Just D/Led the file to update to 7.5.6 but I can’t run it ?
Says that automatic update is not available.
Trying to open the D/Led file produces jibberish ?
Any idea what’s going on ?

What does “D/L” mean? According to wikipedia it has several possible meanings. From context, maybe you mean “download”?
In that case:
You updated libreoffice but it doesn’t open anymore? Does it crash? Can you run it in the terminal and paste everything in here (if anything). In linux you’d just write libreoffice into the terminal (or libreoffice --writer for writer ect.).
What does that even mean? What exactly is “jibberish” (what does it look like and what did you expect what it looks like?). If you opened a downloaded (update) binary file it certainly would look “jibberish” because a lot of things cannot be displayed correctly.
Also: Please provide your os info (are you using linux, windows, macos…?)
