Dark Mode Icon Background Color makes Toggled Icon Unreadable

Hi Everyone,

I’ve googled to see if I could find a solution to this, and finally ended up here.

I’m running Windows 11 in dark mode and LO 7.5.4.2 X86_64

When I go to Tools > Options > View > Appearance and change to Dark, the icons that are toggleable such as the one shown in the attached image (Toggle Design View) become unreadable due to the text color not changing to contrasting color.

I’ve tried all of the available icon themes (including the dark versions) and none of them appear to affect this issue.

Is there an easy solution that I’m overlooking? Thanks in advance!

I was about to create a topic and came up with your question! I can’t see why no one else is talking about this.

I tried everything, including chaging the application collors, but nothing seems to work. I think it’s an error in the code behind failing to check the luminecence of the hovering background in order to change the label. Although this could be fixed by dinamically change the hovering background to a gray scale color, such as Microsoft Office:

Anyway, no solution so far I think.

It seems that Windows users won’t have a decent dark mode such as Linux does
