Dark mode not working on Libreoffice/Hyprland

Im running arch linux and Hyprland, i have libreoffice-fresh installed via pacman
Ive tried setting the theme to dark

however it isnt working, everything is still in light mode except for the black page

don’t you have a dark theme at OS level ?

ps. haven’t tried dark background recently, but from the past, was almost unusable.

Ive found a solution
I run libreoffice with the env variable SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk4 and used gsettings to set the gtk4 theme to a dark theme
there is still some UI wierdness but its better than what i had before
