Date Input Problem

Hello, I used to use OpenOffice and now using LibreOffice 24.8.5.2 (x86_64). I have small problem about input date in Calc. When I use OpenOffice, I just type “1jan” and the output would be “Wed, 1 Jan 2025”.

Is it possible I have similar output result in LO? thank you.

Is it possible

I think that no.
But you can add a new date acceptance pattern as D-M,


set the cell format code as NN, D MMM YYYY,


and write 1-1.
