Default window size and location

Am I losing it?
I’m convinced LO Calc used to open files with the location, size, magnification, etc., defaulting to the last instance of that file’s use.
It now seems to be opening at the last used orientation of the last file.
Does anybody concur? Is it a bug or enhancement request?

While it should be ~true for zoom (if last value was saved to the file, and also subject to the file type - if it supports saving zoom? CSV doesn’t), it is not so (and never was) for e.g. window size and position for any specific file IIUC.

Would you consider it eligible as a valid enhancement request?
Is it likely to be a nightmare setting “last used orientation” of the files as their own discrete geography for the future?
It’s quite noticeable for me as I use multiple monitors and often end up with a file opening right where the last “downloaded and opened with LO” event occurred.
I have quite a few files that don’t require the same screen geography and it’s a real pain when the last thing closed is in a small window and then the files needing plenty of screen “real estate” end up being viewed through the wrong end of a telescope.

If it would benefit any user, it is always a valid enhancement request, even if it would be useless/wrong for others. And it is worth filing it in all cases. But being valid does not mean it would be necessarily be accepted, or implemented timely (or at all)

I just found a very old (2014) open bug - [75644] (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75644) that appears to have been frequently defined as not a bug and then redefined as new. I added my comments.
