Deskew of scanned PDF

Is it at all possible to deskew a scanned PDF in LibreOffice?

Although PDF is loaded as graphics into Draw, the transformation tools need to convert the PDF image(s) into a curve which will change a lot the “semantics” of the contents and probably completely disrupt what you want to do with your PDF.

Some scanners (through their drivers) can fix a moderate amount of slant by applying biased motion on the CCD matrix lateral belts. This is possible thanks to the always present backlash in mechanical systems.

If your scanner can’t do that or you didn’t scan the file yourself, a FOSS application like GIMP offers a plethora of tools for such a task.
