I use the iPad pages app for note taking, it is handy because it automatically syncs with iCloud and I can download documents to my computer later in the .doc 97-2003 format. The problem is that when I open it in LibreOffice 3.6.3, it displays the one page doc as a 20 page string of garbled code that looks like this:

I do not have the same problem with open office 3.3, and do not have the problem with .doc 97-2003 files that are created in LibreOffic. I would attached the file in question, as well as a version with only the garbled text, but I don’t have enough karma(?!). Thanks for your help.
