Double page layout

I was editing a Writer document when suddenly the format changed so that two pages appear side-by-side throughout. This is now the default layout for new documents. I cannot find how to restore the layout. Please help, thanks.

I am using v7.1.3.2 - I do not see a relevant icon at the bottom right of the page. Do I need to change View in some way?

If you can’t see the zoom-slider you may have to re-activate the status-bar (check menue View).

If you see the status-bar: You need the 3 icons to the left of the zoom-slider. The leftmost is for single-page layout.
