Dragging across grouped data, formatting doesn't retain

I have a spreadsheet with about 12 columns. 6 of these are grouped. If I have the group open I can drag across all columns ( just a simple =[cell ref for cell above]). The formatting of the cells - I’m using Calibri 8pt - is carried across all columns.
If the 6 columns are grouped closed then the data moves across but the cells which are ‘closed’ all set to Liberation Sans 10pt. Easy enough to reset to Calibri but is there a way to retain the Calibri font?
It’s only aesthetics really and a slight annoyance.

Your Liberation Sans 10pt font is set to sheet style by default.

Change it to Calibri 8pt:
