Draw: bug on text boxes of imported pdf and new Draw document

Hi all,
I recently imported a pdf with text in Draw and remarked the following:
1-Enlarge (widen) a text box
2-Center the text
3-The text doesn’t center
Any horizontal formatting alignment (left, center, right, justified) does not work.

Creating an empty new document “justified” is not working too.

Anyone has the same behavior?

Best regards

Draw is not a full-fledged PDF editor. It is enough to correct a few typos.

If you think it is necessary you can write a feature request on Bugzilla.

Not with me.

In any question on this site, mention OS name and LO version. LO is an active evolving project offering new features in younger releases with bug fixes. Therefore, LO version is very important. There are also differences across platforms for better integration.

Form experiment, text in PDF documents doesn’t seem to be stored in text boxes but seem to be “labelled shapes”, though the differences are minimal. This means that “text flow” settings, mainly alignment, won’t apply.

To center your text, use Format>Text Attributes and choose a different anchor point. The central anchor will center vertically and horizontally.
