How to I find SUPERSCRIPT in a PDF document (either number or text) and edit it by adding a space in front of the superscript? Is there a general character that I can insert in find and replace to find all the superscript in the document? Is there a SPACE character? Thanks
How is your question related to LibreOffice?
You’re addressing a PDF problem, this is not LibreOffice.
PDF is a page description language. It is not supposed to be editable though you can do it. But be aware that changing any part of it will not cause text reflow even in dedicated PDF editors because document structure (how paragraphs are defined and their relations) is lost.

When you open a PDF document in LibreOffice Draw application, the result of the search function depends on some criteria.
There is some method for apply sub- and supercript characters. The Unicode fonts contain real sub- and superscript characters. The code of these characters are different than the cpde of the normal position (and same shape) characters:
₁1¹
ₐaᵃ
But, when the sub- and superscript characters are graphically shifted (only) and they have graphically decreased size, the code still has been as the original characters.
You must know what type of the sub- or superscript characters are applied in your document, or you must try to search in the two ways.
