Elipital gear with teeth

I have need to draw eliptical gears; 9X4.5, 9X6, 9X3.
I have drawn the elipses, but I need to put teeth on them.

Any ideas ?

Search for a vector graphic image of the gear on the web, insert it and then drag it to the desired elliptical form. Respect the copyright.

If you are using Draw for teeth then you aren’t creating an image for manufacture.

If you don’t mind using cycloidal tooth form instead of the more common involute form then you could generate a round wheel with the specified number of teeth, export as SVG and distort as required. This site will generate a cycloidal wheel shape, Cycloidal Gear Builder

Note that teeth on an elliptical wheel should be calculated for each tooth. That might be easier with involute teeth
