Envelope printing on Canon MF650C

This should be fairly simple, went to print an envelope on my new printer. This worked before on my HP 450 color laser, but on the Canon MF650C I just cant get it to work.

New Document, set paper size to DL, set orientation to landscape, preview looks fine
CTRL-P and the print dialog preview is all messed up. I chose paper size and chose orientation and portrait is landscape and landscape is portrait. (See screenshots)

I have read through (sorry for the formatting, can only put one link in as a new user)
ask libreoffice org /t/envelope-printing/84017
ask libreoffice org /t/custom-page-size-changes-in-print-preview/62934
wiki documentfoundation org Videos/Envelope
ask libreoffice org /t/unable-to-change-paper-size-and-orientation/36513

None of those threads helped. This shouldn’t be this hard (Tried to print an image in GIMP and it printed fine on the envelope)

The first recommendation would be to ensure you have the very latest print drivers for your printer.

Also, there have been issues with older versions of LibreOffice and envelope printing, so you might want to see if this printer has previously been reported as being problematic for envelope printing in the LO bugzilla.

I would add that Ubuntu printer drivers have not always been the most reliable for me with my own printers, since they switched to the autoload subsystem, so your mileage might vary.

Maybe also check the Ubuntu forums to see if anyone else has reported issues
