I have not been able to figure out how to exit a section after editing it. The cursor remains in the last column and I can get it out to do other writing in the document after that section. There is nothing in F1 help on this topic. It seems like the document is fully written and sections can be made of portions of the doucment. Can you use a section on the fly as you write a document?
Your section is probably the last “object” in your document. If there is nothing else after it, you can’t move the cursor past the end of section.
To create a new paragraph below the section, put the cursor at the very end of the section and press Alt+Enter.
If this does not solve your problem, edit your question to be more descriptive. Don’t forget to mention OS name, LO version and save format. If you attach a screenshot, enable View>Formatting Marks and the various boundary hints before taking the shot.
