File -> Save As and select Filter Flat XML ODF Spreadsheet (.fods)
I was not satisfied with the results of the SaveAs, so I actually created my own xml-files by concatenation like
"<"&$A$1&">"&A7&"</"&$A$1&">"
and saved this as text.
I’m using a database for this but the approach is possible also with calc.
PS: There are also XSLT-Transforms available, but maybe only for input and I never hat time or need to get this working…
