When I export an odt file to epub, list numbering is lost. How to retain list numbering in the epub file?
I have used direct formatting only. I haven’t used any fields also.

Which numbering are you talking about? Chapter numbering, list numbering, page numbering, …?
I noticed that data provided by fields are not always transferred to E-pub. Do you use any field? Which ones?
And as always, mention OS name and LO version.
