I am used to Apache Open Office (Writer and Calc) where the styles docker is accessible from a toolbar button or the F11 key. Supposedly, this is also a feature of LibreOffice, but all I see is a minute flash of a dialog box in the middle of the screen and then nothing.
I’ve installed the program, uninstalled it, and reinstalled it twice with no change.
My desire is to have ONLY the navigator and the styles sidebars available. I do not use any of the other default options, at least not in the way the software authors assume I should.
I have a 64 bit Windows 10 system.
This bug is still present (October 2018) in 6.0.6.2 and is blocking me from using ‘Writer’
This bug is fixed in 6.0.1 (and verified), so please describe what you see, and possibly file a new bug. Since the bug is in fixed state, if there’s something similar happening to someone, without filing a new bug - there’s no way for developers to telepathically learn that.
I myself just tested that I can easily toggle styles with the sidebar undocked, pressing F11, with 6.1.3.1 on Win10.
I can’t see on this website an option to file a new bug so I posted a description of the bug in the ‘Ask Your Question’ feature: here…
The Ask site isn’t for bugs, it’s where users help users. Bugs mentioned here will not meet developers, as described on the site’s rules. Bugs are filed to bug tracker, which is accessible from the bug link from my initial comment: there’s a “New” link at the top on that site.
