[FEATURE REQUEST] External Multiconverter from ODF to PDF

I think people can make their own PDFs from many ODTs they have. But if there is no a module (or an application like that) that can accept multiple input of ODF then can convert them one by one to PDF in a same number, people will export them manually one by one. That is a boring job to be done.

I think people will be happy if this module included as a bundle on LibreOffice such as LibreOffice with Writer, Calc, and Impress. So, people will have Writer, Calc, Impress, and this modul (just call it “Exporter”) if they install LibreOffice. That is my idea.

In addition to unoconv, please take a look at the command-line conversion parameters:

You may convert multiple files by using for-loops or other scripting.

Have you looked at unoconv ? It is a tool to do bulk conversions using LibreOffice. It can manipulate import and export filters so you have all the flexibility as the import and export filters provide you from the GUI on the command line.

Any chances to have unoconv working under Windows? I have a real use case with me.

and 2) is there a way to have multiple files input and one file output (concatenating all the outputs). E.g. I have a folder with 100 odt files and I want to transform into one pdf file.

It should work on Windows just fine…

There are also numerous programms that merge pdf-files. Try for example pdf-chain.

A simple batch interface program using libreoffice shall be provided, imo.

@jiero – please feel free to file an enhancement request, if you think it needs improvement!
