Files look different in the Linux and Windows versions of the software

Hello

I have been using Windows and MS Office for decades, but have now decided to switch over to LibreOffice and Linux.

I have noticed that the Windows version of LibreOffice opens my files brilliantly, however, the exact same files look different on Linux. They no longer fit within their margins for example. The same .docx files opened in Writer on Windows look perfect. Does anybody have any idea why this might be?

sudo apt install msttcorefonts installs Microsoft’s “Arial”, “Times New Roman” etc.

You Sir are a prince among men.

I don’t have apt because I’m using Manjaro, but I installed all the Windows fonts from my Windows partition via the Font Manager. They reside in C:\Windows\Fonts for those who find themselves in this predicament.
