Filter data between dates

What would be the Libre Office version of like described here for Excel: Excel formula: Filter data between dates | Exceljet to filter data between dates?

I am sure I am not the first person asking for this but I could not find the answer.

=[FILTER](data,(dates>=A1)*(dates<=A2),"No data")

I also tried to accomplish a similar thing in Base but could not find a way to filter dates either. I hope someone can help me.

Perhaps start with Applying Filters

If you need the data from lets say October from many different tabs I need to change the date to October manually on each tab. With a filter in the formula I enter the start and end date at a single place and it updates it automatically using the new dates.
