Windows 10, LibreOffice 24.2
After downloading latest version, the Findandreplace is not working. It throws up random words that doesn’t relate in any way to the word entered to find
In the middle of editing a manuscript, would appreciate help on this apparent glitch

This seems to me a visual problem. Try changing the zoom level to force the screen to redraw.
Test enabling/disabling Skia.
Further to @LeroyG comment about Skia:
- Click Tools > Options > LibreOffice > View > and if * Use Skia for all rendering is ticked then try ticking also Force Skia software rendering.
- Click OK and allow LibreOffice to restart and then check.
Check under Other Options to see if - Regular expressions is ticked or unticked depending on what you want to find.
- Similarity search is unticked
- You can clear the Format attributes if there by clicking the No Format button
@LeroyG I tried to change the zoom level but didn’t help. When I select Edit - Find and Replace the icon on the toolbar is selected but the dialog doesn’t show.
