In LibreOffice Calc version 25.8.2.2 (x86_64), the behavior of the Find bar has changed. Previously, when a search term was not found, the search bar itself would turn red — a clear and intuitive visual cue. Now, a pale blue popup appears several inches to the right of the search bar with the message “not found.” This change makes it much harder to notice failed searches, especially for users working quickly or with accessibility needs.
Please consider restoring the red highlight behavior or allowing users to customize the feedback style (e.g., color, placement, or popup duration) in the interface settings. A more visible and user-configurable alert would greatly improve usability.
