Linking .fodt files in a master document crashes Libreoffice (version 24.8.2.1) when closing down the document. This has worked in all previous editions to my knowledge. Using the normal .odt files works normally.
I can recreate this bug by creating a new master document, linking a .fodt file, save the master document and attempt to close it down. Libreoffice then becomes “not responding” and freezes. I’m using windows 10.
Can anyone please confirm is this is a bug or if it’s only on my end? My .fodt files are created in a previous version (but are edited and re-saved in the latest version).
Thank you for your help!
I can’t confirm with
Version: 24.8.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

Thanks for the confirmation. I could reproduce this consistently before posting here. Now I ran windows update and tried again, and now it seems to work. Strange…
My windows version is now
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
