Font not in LO/Writer on Windows

I downloaded a .ttf font (here) and it shows up in every program except Writer/LO. I’ve restarted the computer, downloaded the latest LO and have gone through different options to view fonts in LO (dropdown and paragraph style menu).

Version: 25.2.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
OS: Windows 10 X86_64

I always close LibreOffice before installing a font. After I have installed the font, it is shown in LibreOffice without problem (unless it is Type 1).

Have you restarted LibreOffice since installing the font?

I guess so, as he wrote:

The only exception may be a setting wich “always” hibernates, even when one chooses “restart”.

PS: Maybe re-build the font-cache, but that’s a blind shot…

LO was restarted, followed by restarting the computer, reinstalling LO and restarting the computer again.

Could you explain this?

I’ve asked on the Microsoft forum for help about this, since the cache files say they’re in use and can’t be deleted.
