Font Size Changes When I Don't Want It Too

How do I stop the font size changing when I set the size and press Enter? The size reverts to the original size. The program shows 10pt when it starts. I want use 14pt. I set it to 14 pt. but as soon as I start typing the size changes back to 10pt. I have set the font size to 14pt in the font detail page but the program seems to ignore this. I’m using Windows 11 and the latest LibreOffice.

Do you want to be able to see the spreadsheet better? Maybe just adjusting the zoom slider at the bottom right of the window to 140% will suffice.

If you want it print at 14 pt then you can scale the print to 140%.

If you really want to change the font size and to print it at 14 pt then you will have ensure that the print scale is 100%

Where do you want 14pt to be used? Everywhere?

  1. Open the Sidebar in the Styles pane, make sure Cell styles is selected (first icon on right at top)
  2. Right click on Default cell style and click Edit style
  3. Click on the Font pane and in it set the font size to 14 pt. OK

If you want this to be your default every time you open a new sheet in Calc, then make those changes in a new sheet then click File > Templates > Save as template. GIve it a name, select My Templates, tick the box Set as default template and OK.

If you later decide that you don't want that to be the default any longer then click *File > Templates > Manage templates* right click your template and select *Reset default*
