Format date as DD/MM instead of DD/MM/YYYY?

So sorry if this has been asked before. I did try to look for anything similar…
As the title says, I’m looking for a way to change the date format from, for example, 03/08/2023 to just 03/08. I don’t need the year in the cell as well. Sometimes it’ll display as 08/03 if I click on the cell but that’s the wrong way around for me. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of in the settings and in the user manual!

What’s wrong with number format DD/MM?

This is no global setting. Lets construct an example: I send you a spreadsheet constructed on my system with dd.mm.yyyy and at some place used the right 4 chars of the string representation. Your spreadsheet will then show d.mm because our settings differ.
.
I just use the context menu of a selected area → Format cells

My first link from Google with “calc LibreOffice format date” is
