how do i freeze first column to print on each page
If you are working with Calc, choose menu Format - Print Ranges - Edit…, and below Columns to Repeat type $A (or click in the Shrink button and click on column A).
Works in LibreOffice 6.3.6.2 (x86); OS: Windows 6.1.
