When I open one Excel file, I am getting strange red characters in cells that do not show in the origional Excel file. In Libre, it shows the cell is empty on the Input Line at the top of the screen below the menu items:
I’d presume it’s some graphics image because the characters aren’t aligned with the rows at all. If it’s sent to the background and you can’t select it by clicking it then try what the Navigator (F5) tells about Images and perhaps OLE Objects.
Allow us to see them too.
