I use LO (currently 5.3.7.2) in Windows 8.1, primarily Writer. I commonly create long documents in separate files. Windows File Explorer allows you to set various properties to display including WordCount, but that doesn’t work with LO files whether saved as .odt or .doc.
Is there a way to get the full word count for my document without opening each individual file?
EDIT: Trying to sort this made me get to grips with Master Documents, but so far as I can see the Master Document doesn’t display a word count. Am I correct?
