I am writing a Greek text with Writer, for which I will need to make a couple of alphabetical indexes.
As far as I understand, the current implementation of alphabetizing Greek words has a bug I just reported, but in the mean time I need to work out a solution.
Very briefly, in Greek a word can start with non-accentuated vowel, such as “ε” (like “επιτελής”) or an accentuated such as “έ” (like “έντονος”). Whereas Greek alphabetisation rules consider those epsilons identical, Writer separates them into two different entries for accentuated and non-accentuated. The same applies for all other Greek vowels (α, ε, η, ι, ο, υ, ω).
I have tried to think of a workaround but to no avail. I would welcome any thoughts.
