Grid Reference link

I have a spreadsheet with a lookup table holding brief site reference in column A and the Grid Reference in column B. Locations are often just a site(s) within a forest or the side of some minor track; visual inspection would aid the selection.

I use this table to populate another sheet’s upload table.

I want to be able to find a way to put a link in column C that will take me directly to a UK map, OpenStreetMap will do but ideally Ordnance Survey, so that I can check the location before uploading.

You can assemble your link by inserting the front part into HYPERLINK() and then appending your Grid Reference. Of course, the grid reference must correspond to the specifications of the link. So you might have to tinker a bit.
