Hello, I've downloaded Libre today, but when trying to install it I'm getting the message saying that windows can't open this file, and that I need to choose a program from the web or a list of installed ones. Any ideas on what to do next?

Never use Internet Explorer, and you’ll avoid plenty of issues.

Check that the file you downloaded is about 210 MB in sze. Then rename the file extension to “.msi”. It may currently have a .man extension. See this question for more info: Update "Windows can't open this file"

Thanks for your reply.
It is 213 MB in size and is an MSI file.
I’ve downloaded it several times but still get the same message.

Thanks for your help razon 22, however nothing seems to work.
I got fed up and installed Apache Openoffice and was up and running in minutes, so I’m sticking with that.
