I’m using openSUSE Tumbleweed. Ever since updating to version 5.2, performance has been sluggish. Pages scroll very slowly on multi-page docs and moving the slider quickly on the right side causes a 2-3 second delay before it catches up. I’ve made sure that JRE is on (v1.8) and increased memory to 512. That hasn’t made a difference. According to openSUSE forums, I’m not the only one having this problem. Any ideas?
Try to disable openCL and OpenGL.
In my case, this advice didn’t help (especially, before that I was turn off this options)
I have the same problem on Manjaro. After update to 5.2 even downgrade to 5.1 didn’t help
