Hide previous text effect

Hello,
I want to create a presentation that I will use as a reference for my students. Mainly what we currently do. I would like to have some custom effect, so as when I click the next item in a list appears. What I also want is to hide all previous items of that list.

Is it even possible to do so?

I think so. Only your description is not very concrete, at what times something must stand.

Example:
You use Animation in the sidebar.
Choose menu View>Animation.
You can’t use a Text block, you have to separate the Text objects so that each can have one or more Animations applied to it.
Select a Text object and click Add in the sidebar and select the effect you want to use at the bottom.
For example, for a text object you can determine:

  1. click = Text object appears;
  2. click = Text object disappears.

    See the example file:

    Try experimenting a little.
