Hello,
I wonder if it is possible to see the change history in a document, and what was written before?
Thank you very much
Hello,

There are two features in Writer but they may not fully answer your concern (unless you edit your question to better describe your goal).
The first one is Track changes feature (see Edit
menu).
When enabled, you see the modifications you made relative to the last “checkpointed” version. It quickly becomes cluttered. This mode is rather intended for revision while proof-reading. The modification log disappears when you accept changes.
The second one is the Versions feature (see File
menu).
I allows to save in a single file several selectable versions of a document. Versions can be compared with each other. However, I probably misuse the feature (or have an insufficient experience with it) because I encounter difficulties when I reference older versions. Namely, I can no longer revert to the most recent version. Consequently, before using routinely the version feature, experiment with small disposable documents.

Hi.
Thanks for the answer, i really was thinking that no one was gonna respond me
The question is that a think that a i dont enabled any of this options when i writed the document.
Can i send to your e-mail ou post here the document, so you can see if there is any history?
Because i really need to know what that a i writed before.
Thanks a lot.
You’re welcome.
However you should have used a comment or edited your question because this is no solution to the initial problem. You’re on a “question & answers” site, not a blog or forum.
If you didn’t enable any option, your file only contains the latest version of your document. I can check that if you attach the file to your question. For that, edit your question and use the paperclip tool.
Hello,
I’m sorry, I did not know how the site worked.
I still think that I did not change any of the configuration, the last thing I change in this document was in September of last year, i hope that is some of the archive left.
I’ll attach the link here from Google Drive, would you give me your email to authorize you to view? I do not want to leave public …
Thank you
If you need my email, then don’t upload the file, send it directly to me: ajlittoz (at) users (dot) sourceforge (dot) net
Replace (xx) by the described character. This is only a small obfuscation against robots trying to collect @ddresses for spamming purposes. When (or if) I contact you back, you’ll get my real @ddress.
Hi, thanks, i already sended a e-mail
Hi
I already send the file, i don’t no what that hepening.
But, i found something, my document was exported in .doc, and i no longer have acess to the .odt file.
Do you think i have any chances?
Thanks!
As I explain in more details in my private mail, if the source file was .odt and you exported to .doc from it, there is absolutely no way to recover older versions.
