How can I copy a table and queries etc

Can you copy tables, queries and forms from an existing database to a new one. I have tried copying and pasting a table to a calc sheet but it doesn’t paste anything apart from the first column header, eg: ID

You may consider to copy the whole .odb-file, then delete not needed parts.

Works for me for rows in table-view as well as copy and paste from context menu. One can also drag a table/query from data-sources window to Calc to get a refreshable database-range.

Thanks, but I tried copying a table to a calc sheet but it only copied the first column header eg ID1

I then just copied the while base file to the same name then renamed it.

For copying tables: Click on the table icon. Right mouse click → copy. Then to Calc and insert. You have got a copy of the content.
For linking tables: Press left mouse button on the table icon in Base. Move the table to Calc → content will be linked from Base to calc. You could refresh the content in Calc every time the content in Base has been changed.

I managed to get some tables copied to a new database by using left mouse click. I never thought to do that,Doh! So I then copied queries and forms by the same method. the reason I want to do this is because of a problem I had with a recent database where it just went to 0 bytes after I finished modifying forms and adding data.

Thanks
