How can I delete files in Libre Office Writer?

Libre Office Writer V4.2.2.1 Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1? English Lauguage

Using Libre Office would be far more simple and much easier for an end user if this capability were built into LO. I find it difficult to locate files in the Windows Folder application so they can be deleted there as you seem to prefer. Except for that I find the LO application to be very useful for my needs and I thank your developers.

I cannot ask my question because it has already been asked by manj_k and answered. OK but how do I find the answer. The only way I can seem to find to delete a file is to press the delete key from end to end.

BTW: cloph’s macro works fine for me (LibreOffice 4.2.2.1).
