How can i search for colored cells in libreoffice calc

Good day! We have several sheets in one spreadsheet and have been coloring the background of one of the cells in each row according to different situations - like open, closed, partially closed, etc.

Is there a way to find these rows based on ?? maybe the hex code of their color?
This is perhaps a little far to ask, but, Would it be possible to output all these columns into another sheet? - lol

Have a great day and be happy! Happy smile.

One important information is missing: Wich version of LibreOffice do you use?
Filtering for colorized cells is a recent addition.

Filtering possible since 7.2 in Calc

Additional sort by color in filter in 7.6:

Mark as CLOSED

Thanks guys. After reviewing the suggestions and trying for a while to get it to work, finally just decided to forego background colors and inserted another column. Maybe next time.

Have a beautiful almost-Spring evening and be happy!

I would recommend this in most cases, as this can also be exported to csv or database

Actually this is possible for standard and advanced filters, where you can define a destination for the output. I never tried this with autofilter.

Check forvthe Copy to option even in old OpenOffice:

It would hace been nice cause it’s easier to SEE in a small, medium sized sheet. Searching should not be hard since the HEX codes for the color is readily available. Even i could find it.

If you create each color a style, there is this extension that works with styles, perhaps it is possible to do what you want.
