How disable formula help?

Calc come now with an interactive formula help bubble.

This overlays my edit line.

How can I disable this?

Basically this is only an issue if all symbols are disabled. Then the tipp overlays the edit line.

Disable AutoInput (menu Tools).

No, this is off. Switched it on an off again, but this this stays.

Ok, seems you hav e been right. Thank you.

Issue is, that disabling AutoInput takes effect only after a restart of Calc. Funny is, that enabling of AutoInput works directly.

Not with me:
Version: 7.2.7.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 8d71d29d553c0f7dcbfa38fbfda25ee34cce99a2
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: es-MX (es_ES); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

It may be a bug there. Could you share your version information? Menu Help - About LibreOffice - button with a copy icon. Thanks.

Version: 7.3.5.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 30(Build:2)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3

Ubuntu package version: 1:7.3.5-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

Ubuntu on X11

I think this is essentially 2 bugs

  1. Tipp should never overlay input line (which it does when symbols are off)
  2. Setting AutoInput off takes effect only after restart of Calc on Ubuntu

Leroy: I’m not familiar with bug reporting. Can you do this?
(I have found a few more bugs if anyone is interested)

Best if the user experiencing the issue does the bug report as they are able to add extra information and samples if required. How to Report Bugs in LibreOffice - The Document Foundation Wiki
