How do I change a portrait page to landscape

I am making a verse in a card and need to go from portrait to landscape

You tagged common but I’d assume you are creating your “verse in a card” by using a special module (assuming it is Writer (may be Draw) and neither Calc nor Impress). Please modify your tag to reflect the LibreOffice module you are using to create your card.

Writer Format -> Page Style ->Tab: Page -> Orientation: [o] Landscape
(LibreOffice Help - Changing Page Orientation)
Draw Page -> Properties -> Tab: Page -> Orientation: [o] Landscape
