how do I create a field in base that is all caps

I imported a calc sheet into base. I have one column that needs to always be capital letters. I looked at all the options for text in the field type, but they don’t make a whole lot of sense to me. I just want to use all caps in the one field, please help.

Need to know the database used. On the main Base screen on the status bar (very bottom line) in the center it tells the database and on the left the connection. What are these?

Open the sheet in calc and change the case there.

After some thought, knowing the database used is probably not going to help. The problem is the on-going entry of data and not just the initial import.

If the field information has a reasonable maximum length you can consider the table field as varchar and the entry form to use a pattern field. Otherwise you will need to use a macro.
