How do i do a copy and paste from a saved scan pdf?

i have a scanned an article and i and want to copy and paste maybe two paragraphs out of the article. how do i do that?

You can’t. A scanned PDF is a collection of image pages inside which text is only made of pixels. Recovering text requires first to process your PDF with some OCR utility. But expect errors requiring manual fixes.
