How do I do associate email program to work with Writer?

I’m using Windows 7. When I try to email a document from Libre Writer I get an error message that says: There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.

I’m using Windows Live Mail - can I associate with this and how do I do it please?
